From Al Ain

１７年前、娘への授乳で、首を痛め激痛に苦しんだことがある。
そこで、針治療をしてもらおうと、
あれは、イギリスのニューキャッスルの町の中にある
針屋さんにいった。
ベッドにうつぶせに寝た私は、自分の背中でなにがおこっているのか
見えない。
拷問のような治療だった。
涙がでた。
まるで、背中をナイフで、切りつけられているような
痛み。
生まれてのはじめての経験だった。
よく覚えていないが、ほんの１０分ほどの拷問のあと、
オイルでマイルドなマッサージをうけた。
帰宅後に、自分の背中をみると、紫色の無数の線。
まるで、これは、DVうけたみたいやなと、
家人と笑った。
首に痛みは、次に朝起きたときに、
大方取れていた。
背中のどす黒い線は、
なくなるまで、
数日かかった。
あれは、ほんとに、不思議なた体験だった。
あとにも、さきにも、あれ１度きり。
肩がこったりしたとき、
家で自分でしょうがのスライスでやったりするけど、
あのときにのように、紫の線はでないし、
ぜんぜん効かない。
プロの仕事とは、すごいものだとつくづくおもった。


ラマダン終了まで、後、８日です。
では、よい１日を。

 While I was breastfeeding 17 years ago, I had an awful neck pain one day.

So I  had  Chinese treatment in downtown Newcastle in the UK.

I lay face down on a bed. 

The Chinese guy's treatment was just like torture.

I felt just like he was using a knife on my back. It was really painful. It is hard to explain how awful it was.

I could not see what he was using because I was lying face down.

He showed me what he used for my back.

It was a piece of ginger.

I could not get it why it was so painful with a slice of ginger.

He explained to me that wind was stuck in my body.

When I got back, I saw my back in my bathroom mirror.

It was really awful.  My back was covered in what looked like bruises.

I should have taken the photo.

Next day, my neck pain was almost disappeared,

but the purple marks on my back remained for a while.

It was a really interesting experience. I couldn't get any information about it on the Internet, unfortunately.

Whenever I have a stiff shoulder or neck pain, I copied his technique with a piece of sliced ginger but it never works. I admire the Chinese guy's professional job.
