きょう、ガソリンをいれにいったら、目の前をこのおにいさんが通過。
おおー、赤いスカーフがまぶしい。
ガソリンスタンドの
横の工事現場で働くおにいさん。

写真とらせてーーーと、カメラで追いかける。
しかし、彼まで、あと3mのとこまで、おいかけたところで、
なんと、カメラのバッテリーがないことがわかる。

バッテリーチャージしたまま、
セットしてくるのをわすれた。

きょうは、彼をかくぞーー。

家まで、バッテリーを取りに帰る。

またまた登場した、私をみて、
工事現場のお兄さんたちは、やいのやいのさわぎたてる。

というのは、たくさんおにいさんたちがいるなか、私は、迷いもなく彼を選んだからだ。
炎のように燃える赤のスカーフをしているのは、彼だけだったから。

作業用のてぶくろも気にいった。手首のところに、ついていた赤いラインが色を添えた。

非常にこの作品は気にいった。

赤っていいなー。

難をいえば、似てないところかな。ははは

He is a construction worker. When I saw him in a petrol station. I was fascinated by his red scarf and face.
I was about to ask him could I take his photo, but I realized I had forgotten to put the battery in my camera.
I went home, picked up the battery and got back to the petrol station. He was a very cheerful man. I found his working glove, which has a red line in the wrist, was great as well.

I love this piece. 

But there is a big problem which you won't be able to see. It doesn't look like him at all. Hahaha.

これは、先日街中で取った写真。
この町は、オマーンに近いので、たくさんのオマーンのひとたちがやってきます。

Al Ain is very close to the Omani border. So lots of Omanis come in this town. Omani wear hats like this. Emiratis wear a type of scarf called a qitra (I'm not sure about the spelling).

もう2月というのに、今になって、年賀状書いてます。

I got some new years card from Japanese friend last week.
So I painted cheery blossom.
I'm going to send it this week, it might reach Japan in March.

きょうは、そうそう、Barry Evansという  Mind your languageというショウで一躍有名になった彼のこと。英語学校の先生役は、とにもかくにもぴったり。

毎晩、1エピソードずつみるのが楽しみ。

ネットで、彼のことを調べた。

奥さんといっしょに、イギリスの静かな田舎町で、

ノンビリと暮らしているんじゃないかと、想像たくましくてしていたので、

もう15年もまえに若くして、他界していたことをネットで知ってショックをうけた。

孤児院で育つ。俳優として開花し、これからというときに、不思議な死に方で、この世を去っている。残念でならない。

Today, I want to type about Barry Evans who became famous in the show "Mind your language" which was televised 34 years ago. His role, as an English teacher, suits him.

Every night, I watch an episode with my daughter on Youtube.

I checked about him on the Internet.

I had thought he must be living peacefully somewhere in England with a wife , but I was shocked to find that he passed away 15 years ago.

He was an orphan and was raised in an orphanage. He bloomed as an actor, but he passed away mysteriously at a young age.

I feel really sorry.
