Chasing my dream

何年も前に描いたこの絵。
赤いのは、
工事中のモスクの屋根。
いつ完成するのだろうといつも
見ていた。

ある日、完成の日の目をみることなく
解体がはじまった。

I painted this a couple of years ago.
The red part was a roof of mosque.
Whenever I drive this street, I used to think when was it supposed to be completed?
Unfortunately, one day it started to be demolished.

新しい絵は夢となった。

資金不足で、工事続行とならなかったのか

It turns to be a dream to paint with the mosque which has completed nicely.
I have no idea why the construction had stopped and finally faced demolition.
There was no money left?
It must have been fairly costly to demolish it, too._________________________________________________________________________

理由はわからない。

解体にも、相当な費用がかかるはず

この通りにくるたびに
おもう。

人の人生に似ているなと。

自分だけは、
この解体されたモスクのようにはならないでおこうと決めた。

It looks like people's lives.
I decided that I don't want to be like this mosque which was demolished.
I wrote down my dream on a paper.
I never done it before.I feel like one step forward toward my dream by writing my dream on a piece of paper.
