Watercolour has become a very large and important part of my life-living in Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates for 18 years has given me plenty of inspirations for my paintings. Painting even just an Arabic building is beautiful.
I love watercolours and I learn more and more every day.
The message from the painting is that everyone is different, so responds to the same thing in different ways. For example, the boy playing a tune is getting a lot of different reactions to it. The chicken dances, the lion relaxes, the gorilla cries, the chimpanzee remembers its forest, the sea turtle swims, and the cat goes for a walk. Each of these is a valid reaction to what they have heard because they are all very different creatures. We don't need to feel the same things as others, because we all are different. What do we have to do is just accept the differences.
