突然ですが、ゴリラです。

キャンバスにアクリルで描いてみた。

友人Ｐさんは、アクリルの大好きのひと。

で、先日弟子入りでしてならってきました。

アクリルにルールはない。

ということで、好きにかいていいそうなので、

私が、描くとどうしても、水彩風になるので、笑えます。

写真から描いた。

持っているのは、ピーマンでしたが、

地球をもっているようにみせたかったのですが、

こうしてみると、やはりピーマンですね。

HCT exhibition

先週、HCT 25 anniversary celebration art exhibition に参加。
３８点を出品。といっても、古いものばかり。ブログにのせるのに、かきためていたのをだしました。写真は、アートクラブ、メンバーのＴさん。クラブからは、わたしとＴさんだけ。来年は、全員出品したい！

Ｉand Ms,T (in the photo above) participated in the HCT 25th anniversary celebration art exhibition last week.

I displayed 38 pieces.
If we could join it every year like this as a Al Ain Art Club、it would be great!

Al Qattara Art Center in Al Ain

金曜４時から９時、
土曜９時から、９時。
このアートセンターは、だれでもただで使えます。

きのうは、この部屋わたしひとりで、満喫させていただきました。
週末にあいているというのは、ありがたい。

金曜に引越
たアパートから、
アートセンターまで、５分。
こんなに幸運なことはありません。
ありがたいー。

This art center is opened on the weekends as well. (and luckily, we
are not charged.) I went there last Saturday at 5pm and painted 2 gorillas.

In Al Ain Royal Museum

I promised him I would paint his portrait almost 2 months ago.I finally finished this last night. It took a long time to get inspiration, but I don't think I can show this to him. I'm sure he will say," My nose is not red like that!"

This is a mosque which is located near the petrol station which I  normally go to on the Hilton road.

My daughter participated in a piano competition in Abu Dhabi last week . She performed very well. I'm proud of her. Unfortunately, I can't post her performance here, though.Instead of that, I can show one of the most talented pianist performances from the opening ceremony.

This is the performance by Ibrahim al Junaibi

He is one of the most talented UAE composers at the moment.He wrote this piece himself.

まちがって、絵をいれないままポストしてしまっていました。
renateさんに、いわれてやっと気づく始末。もう１度絵を入れてポストしました。



ところで、このIbrahimさんもすごいのだけど、世の中には、本とすごい人がたくさんいて、
わたしの人生を豊かなものにしてくれるひとだらけ。

Ibrahim is a great pianist.It was really impressive.
There are so many people who make my life rich.

このオープニングセレモニーで、
夫婦でのduoのピアノがありました。

One piano duo, a wife and  husband, performed in this opening ceremony.

台湾人のおくさんと、Sebastianという、だんなさま。
このふたりのピアノが最高だったんですが、なかでも、途中で、だんなさまのすわっている椅子の足が折れてしまって、なんとそのSebastianさんは、椅子から転げ落ちたのです。
しかし、プロ。
落ちていくときも、彼はピアノを弾いてていたし、
床に落ちてしまっても、ピアノを弾いていて、けっして、途中でやめなかった。

Truth is stranger than fiction sometimes. 
What happened was, when both were playing piano, Sebastian's chair broke and he fell to the ground .
But he didn't stop playing while he was falling and even after he fell off  completely, he was still playing the piano.Until he got a new chair, he played  without one. He didn't change his expression at all and their performance was  peacefully done.

新しい椅子を、もらって、何事もなかったかのように、引き続ける彼に、プロ根性をみた。
たぶん、長いピアニストの人生で、椅子が壊れて、投げ出されるなんてはじめてだったろうに、
顔の表情さえ変えなかった彼に、学ぶものは多かった。

He showed me what being professional is. Not only playing piano nicely, but even if something happens, continue without upset and achieve it smoothly with a very strong spirit.

そうか、プロになるということは、うまく何かと成し遂げるだけではなく、非常事態にも、動揺せずすみやかに対応する、不屈の精神をもつことなんだと。

わたしも、母として、人間として、そうあらねばと気持ちを一新。

しかし、そんなに簡単なことではない、台所で、ちょろちょろ走るゴキブリにアパート中に聞こえるような悲鳴をあげてしまい、意気消沈。

プレゼントにもらったマグを割る前に描いとかないとと、

計画は２ヶ月まえ。たったこれだけかくのに、時間かかりすぎ。

そそっかしいわたしは、なんでもすぐこわす。

ので、壊すまえに絵で残しておこうという

考えはすばらしいのだが、

すぐにはできあがらないので、

割ってしまったものを、箱にいれてとってあるものもある。

鏡とかグラスとか。

Higher College of Technology での、２５周年記念の展示会にだすつもりで、４０ｃｍＸ５０ｃｍの大きなものに挑戦していたけれど、

なんとまにあわず。

らくだ久しぶり.

頭だけ。

These days, I'm really busy. So many things are happening at the same time.

I'm going to move into to a new apartment tomorrow.

Luckily, I will have my own art room over there.

The presentation

ある学校のアートの時間に水彩について話をしてほしいとたのまれ、
私の水彩の作品をもちこみ、すこしばかりの、
実演のあと、みんなに描いてもらいました。

１０人ほどの、小さなクラスだったので、
それほど、緊張はしなかったけれど、１５歳というむずかしい年頃の子に、水彩について話すなんてどうなることやらと少し心配はしました。でも、
まじめに耳を傾けてくれて、ほっとしました。

わたしが、つくっている、
絵日記は、みんなかなり興味を誘ったよう。（な気がしただけか）

生まれたときから、コンピューターがある世代の子供たちに、
水彩とかに興味を示させるのは、
大変なことではないかと、恐れていたのは事実。

とにかく、無事終了。

ほっとして、かえってきたら、ドアのチャイム。
ドアをあけると、
猫が

なんと、れいの猫が帰ってきた。

まだまだ子供の猫だけど、妊娠していて、おなかが重いのか、ゴミ箱にジャンプしにくく、食べ物を手にいれられないのか、わたしの顔をみるたびに、あんたんとこの猫にしてーと、家の中まで、はいってきていた。残念ながら、うちの猫とは、そりが合わず、あったとたんに、けんかが始まり、うちでは無理ということで、ひそやかに、外のゴミ捨て場のとこで、ビスケットをやっていた。先週、ぴたとみなくなった。お産だったらしく、今日きたら、おなかは平らになっていた。うちのことを覚えていたらしい。

この猫がドアのチャイムをならしたわけではなく、この子の面倒をみているらしい、このビルの清掃のおにいさんがいっしょにきた。

いけないとはおもいつつ、ついついビスケットの箱をやってしまった。ストリートキャット葉、ストリートキャットとして生きていかねばならないので、えさをやっては、あだとなると聞いたことがあるけど、授乳で腹ペコのこの猫、がつがつとビスケットボールに頭をつっこんでいるのをみると、自分でえさをさがさないとだめでしょう？とはいえない。

I know we should not give biscuits to a stray cat. She used to come to our front door. She is a really friendly cat, one day she followed me and got into our house. Unfortunately we have cat called Honey, and immediately they started a fight. So we can't adopt the cat which was pregnant. Last week, suddenly she stopped coming, but she came back today with the flat belly.

The cat remembered us. She came back and pressed the door bell.

Kidding. Actually, one of cleaners in this building came with her. He begged me to give some biscuits. We should say NO!

Stray cats have to get food for themselves!

But I couldn't say that. 

When I gave some biscuits, she gobbled them.

She is feeding milk to the kittens. She must be very hungry. 

Finally I passed the new box of biscuits to the cleaner.

I called Animal Welfare Al Ain a while ago when the cat still was pregnant. They said stray cats are much stronger than we think, they have to learn how to survive. So I know we shouldn't give them food. Otherwise, stray cats will not try to look for food themselves. I should be stronger, but I can't be. 

時々は、チャコールでスケッチ。

火曜は、Ｇちゃんのレッスンの日。
なんだかわかりませんが、これがプロセス１です。

 最初のwashを乾かして、それから、アザラシをかきました。

子供って、面白い。
どうしても、木をいれるといって、ピンクにぬったＧちゃん。

木の枝の向こうに最初に色がみえてすてき。ひげと目をいれてできあがり。


スプレーで水をかけると、色が薄くなって流れていくのを勉強してほしくて、がんがんスプレーしました。

５歳のＧちゃん。

One of my students, G, is five years old. 

I wanted her to learn what happened, if we spray lots of water onto the paper. 
She was fascinated by the water. 

昼からは、Ｈちゃんのレッスン。
washを２回やりました。
スプレーで、水をバシャバシャかけると、
色が紙の上を、がんがん流れます。
もう楽しくてしょうがなくて、
水浸しですが、
あまり、スプレーをしないほうが、
色が定着してくれることを、ほんの２０分で学んでくれました。
７歳でこれだけ描けるとりっぱなものです。

題名は、水を飲むぞうさん。

In the afternoon, I had another student and she is seven years old. 
She tried wash twice. She learnt quickly how to control water.
I can't teach creativity, but I can teach techniques.

5月

わたしの人生で、１０回目の引越し。まだ家はきまらず、ダンボール山積みのなかにいる。
箱につめるとき、結局、ノートに何
かいたんかなーと、みなおすことになり、
作業はなかなかすすまない。
これは、２年前のノートより。

My 10th moving of house in my life is coming. The next house hasn't been decided yet, but we know by which day we have to leave this apartment. At the moment, cardboard boxes are piled everywhere in this house.
When I pack my stuff, automatically I opened my notebooks and checked what I did before.This diary is from 2011.

絵日記は、面白い。
なにを思ってこんなん描いたのかなというものだらけ。
I don't know why I painted it.

昔のほうが、うまかったような気もする。

                             I feel like I was much better 2 years ago.

きょうは、アルアインアートクラブで、パンペイントだけで
ファルコンを描いた。
本物を目の前に
描いてみたいもの。バランスがわるいので、大きめのすずめのようにもみえる。
 In Al Ain Art Club, we painted a falcon from a photo.I'd like to paint from a real model one day.

Drawing is not correct, so it looks like the a big ssparrow.

Staedtlerのパンペイントは、ほんの１８ｄｈｓ。
パンペイントは色が濃くしにくいので好きではなかったけれど、初心者には、これで十分だろうとおもう。

This is a Staedtler pan paint. It was just 18dhs. I disliked pan paint  because I used to feel like it is difficult to make strong colour by it.
However, this one is quite nice quality for beginners and the price is reasonable as well.
