appreciation

小さなころに、家に牛がいた。
牛に食べさせる
そのわらが積み上げられたなかで、長年、わたしを、たのましませてくれた、
猫は硬くなって死んでいた。
生まれて始めて、死をみたときだった。
何匹も子どもを産んだ。
何匹かは、育ててあげていたけど、
短命だった。
母親の彼女は、何度も自分の子どもの
死をみることになった.。

今、うちの猫のハニーは、
食が細くなった。
まだ、、１１年だから、
平均寿命は１８年くらいなので、
まだ、大丈夫なのはずなのだけど。
ビスケットがおいしくないのかなと
おもって、
ちょっと高いキャットフードを買ってあげた。

ぜんぜん食べっぷりがちがう。
食が細くなったのではなく、
１１年間食べ続けているビスケットに嫌気がさしていたらしい。

３倍の値段の、ビスケットでの、食べっぷりがあまりにもいいので
そんなにおいしいのかと、私もひとつ食べてみた。
びっくり。
結構いけた。

When I was a child, we had some cows.

They used to eat straws[BS1], lots of straw was piled in the corner of the cow's hut.

Our cat, Chiro, which made me happy for a long time, died one day and I found out her in the straw.

It was the first time to me to face a death in my life.

I cried quite a long time, I still remember her body had become hard.

She had a lot of kittens in her life. We couldn't keep all, but

we sometimes did, but her kittens didn't live long. Always Chiro had to say bye bye to her kittens.

I have a cat called Honey now.

She looks as if she has lost her appetite these days. I am really worried about her.

She came to our house when she was a kitten in 2006. A cat's lifespan is 18 years,  according to the Internet. So I feel it is a bit early to worry about her last day. I guessed the cat food might be causing the problem. So I bought a pretty expensive biscuit today. Honey started to eat heartily.

She was not sick, she must just have wanted to say "I would like to eat a bit better food."

Since she started to have a good appetite, I was curious. 

How delicious would the very expensive biscuit be?

So I ate a piece of her biscuit. Wow it is quite nice taste!!!

It is a problem now.

I can't buy this super expensive biscuit all the time.

 [BS1]What cows eat is called hay. It's dried grass. What you use to make a bed for them is straw. It's the dried stem of plants like rice or wheat.
