Toll parking

パーキングが有料になりはじめたのは、ほんの最近のこと。
2000年にここに来て以来、ずっとずっと、
どこにいってもただだった。

2年ほどまえから、
ついに
町のこみあうあたりが
有料になった。
このパーキングのチケットを買うターコイズの棒みたいなのを
どうにかして
絵にしたいとおもっていた。

どこにいっても、
古き良きものが
失われていくのを
とめることはできない。

18年にわたって、
変わりゆくアルアインの町を
みてきた。

税金がつくようになり、
物価はさらに
あがりつづけ、
外国人は、
去り始めている。

でも、まだ、
アブダビ、ドバイに比べたら、
住みやすさは、
各段にいい。

Tradition is being removed everywhere in the world and we can't stop it.


I've seen that this city, Al Ain has been changing for 18 years.

The tax is added this January and we can't ignore the gradual rise in prices.

So expats are little by little started to move to other countries.

However, Al Ain is still better than Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
