Watercolour has become a very large and important part of my life-living in Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates for 18 years has given me plenty of inspirations for my paintings. Painting even just an Arabic building is beautiful.
I love watercolours and I learn more and more every day.

Al Ain project 1
笑う門には、福きたる!
黒のものを描くのは、非常にむずかしい。
でも、太陽の下にいると、黒ではなくなるのよね。
Thank you for visiting my blog.
I'm trying to paint Al Ain city this month.
Dear Midori:) The first painting made me laugh too:) I've got the feeling I know Al Ain already. All paintings are beautiful, especially the man with the big bird on his arm. Wonderful done!! Have a nice day:)xx
Hi renate, thank you. I've realized. The paper is the most important? I'm using Langton these days. Normally, I use cheap paper, but after using Langton, I can't use the cheap one. I like painting something Arabic these days.
C'est magnifiquement peint. J'adore les portraits et l'homme en vélo.
ReplyDeleteWonderful, Midori! I do like your paintings of the laughing men, and the man on the bicycle.
