Painting of UAE

Chrismas season has come.
I'm really, really busy.

I don't have enough time to sit.
Finally, I produced some paingings of UAE culture.

(This is a part of the painting.)
I took some photos this Emiati and his camels about 5 years ago in a farm in Al Ain.
He was a really friendly Emirati.
I painted him from one of photos.
I'd  been trying to meet him to show my work, but I coudn't get him.
When I went there to meet him with my painting about 2 years ago, I had a chance to meet a young boy.
I asked him "Is this your grandfather?'
He  said "yes",
I gave away my painting to him with my telephone number.
Because I wanted him to be a model again.
but there have been no telephone call for 2 years.
I'm still waiting to meet him.
 

I was asked yesterday,"How long did you take to complete one piece"?"
That is really good question.

Because I took this one almost 2 years.
I painted the right side guy, but I couldn't paint the left side guy until yesterday.
They are tabaco seller in Al Ain Vegetable souq.

 

Christman is coming.

And the end of term of school is coming, too.

 

There are so many things to think and do.

We have a proverb in Japan,''I'm very busy, so I'd even  borrow a cat's paw.

Friday morning

It is perfect weather these days. I go out for sketching on Friday morning.
 

This is just 50m away from my apartment.

When I was painting stones, suddenly the cat came out. She/he gave me a pretty nice pose, however it was 30seconds. I could not finish it.

This Emirati guy is working around the gate.When I pulled out my camera my bag, he posed for me without hesitating.
So I painted  him from one of the photos.
I like his hand. I touched on it just twice. The colour looks like shallow, but I could have done what I really wanted.

Etegami club

 

I'm a member of Etegami club.

These days, I'm very busy to think about Hani's story.

 

 

 

 

 

 

One day, this happened in front of my apartment.

This two boy's daddy's car broke.While their daddy who was calling  his friend or a garage,

two boys seemed like enjoying under the heat, because the elder brother found out the cardboard and started to use as a parasole.

The younger brother's reaction was so impressing.

It seems like somebody's dead body, but it is a gorilla.

Only one gorilla in Al Ain Zoo.

He(she) looks so sad. Since the partner is dead, he(she) is alone.

I feel really sorry to him(her).

Al Ain Watercolour Club went to Al Ain Palace Museum this week.

This is the simple wash that I did in the museum.


 

 

 

The Eid holiday lasts for five days.

On day 2, since

I'm fascinated by Al Ain Palace museum, I went there again,but it was closed. So we moved to the Rotana Hotel parking.

If the Rotana hotel owner has a chance to see my piece, he/she will probably be mad, because it looks like kids' art.

I have an excuse: the design of the Rotana hotel is very complicated.

 Hi Lion,

you must be hungry.

If you want to use my miso-soup bowl to eat biscuit, I don't mind at all.

 

The lion couldn't understand at all why she is so easy going in front of a carnivore.

 

When I was painting in front of the Rotana hotel, I made this: "HaniHani series 2" for the Etegami club.I want to think and paint so many things, so my brain is really busy these days. hahaha ほんまかいな。

 

I picked up this leaf in Al Ain Palace Museum the day before yesterday.

I love these shadows which show their shape.

Since I posted "Mischisf of the sun",
 I got a lots of comments.
So I'm thinking about all day about something funny thing.
It  is so much fun!!!

Acutally  I was amazed, becaue I got a lots of comments for it.

進化の度合い

 

 

どれ位、進歩してるのか知りたくて、

最近、

 

昔昔に描いたものをもう1度描くことに挑戦している。

このYemen人のお姉さんの写真は、新聞からお借りしまして、

5年ほど前に、描いたことあり。

 

 

民族衣装が華やかで、

人目で、魅了された1枚。

 

5年前は、手までこまこまと描いて失敗したので、今回は、

かなり省略。

 

うちの子にいわせると、

5年前の作品のほうがよかったと。

とほほ、情けない。

 

11月にバザーで売ろう！！！

ということになってるので、こういうのを描きました。

 

影シリーズです。

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

しかし、はがきより、小さなサイズにかくので、

牛のつもりが、ヤギになったりするのです。

 

 

 

こういうもの、バザーで、売れるわけないやん

とおもいながらも、

友達の家にいったとき、

やたらと、やってくる野良猫の

ソルジャー(と、えさをやってる彼女が命名）を描いてみる。

 

はっきりいって、

ハンサムとはほどとおい。

 

きっと、だれにも、もらってもらえそうに無いだろうなーの風貌。

 

汚いし、顔が恐い。

 

しかし、

ソルジャーが現れただけで、まわりの空気がぴりぴりするという、なんともいえない、キャラをもっている。

 

勇気のある人、

もらってやってくれないかなー。

 

 

Dream of flying

 

 

先日、Dubi Mallにいったとき、

ファルコン噴水広場をみつけた。

 

あまり、ショッピングセンターとかいかないので、

こういうものを見つける機会もあまりないので、

非常におどろいた。

天窓からふりそそぐ、太陽の光に、かがやいた、ブロンズのファルコン。

いったいだれがこれをつくったのか、

躍動感あふれるすばらしい作品。

 

いまにも、飛び立ちそうな

ファルコンたちを描いてみた。

 

アクリルのブロンズ色と、白をとばしたら、

雨が降っているのようにも見えて、、、、、研究はさらに続く。

リサイクルとなれば、安いとおもいきや、普通の紙より高い。

高くなるのでは、リサイクルの意味がないんじゃないの？

 

白ではなくて、この茶色の紙が使いたかったので、しかたなく購入。

写真では、色が飛んでしまってあまり見えないので残念。

ドバイに突然、絵の具を買いにでかける。
朝7時に決めた。

絵を描きはじめると、あたりまえだけど、
絵の具がいる。
この国で、唯一と思われるドバイの画材屋さんで、

まともに、水彩絵の具がそろっていたことがない。

どれもこれも、品切れ。
アクリルや、オイルは、山のようにあるのに。

しかし、今回は、いままでと様子が違いなんと、
棚に並ぶ水彩絵の具はほとんどがびしっと並んでいる。
あれやこれや、買ったなかで、
今回初めて買ったのは、
Winsor & Newtonの Pathalo Turquoise。

誰かがふたを開けて、色を見たらしい跡を家に帰ってから、発見。
ふたの周りに、ブチュッと、色がこびりついている。

あらー高かったのに、こんなん？
と、筆で、色をとりはじめるけど、

なんと言っても、高い絵の具なので、
ただ掃除して、色を捨てるにはもったいないので、
何か描く物はないかとさがす。

一から描くエネルギーはないので、
ファイルをめくり、
去年描いたヤギの絵に空と遠景らしきものをたしてみる。

母への絵手紙にも、pathalo Turquoiseをちらと使う。



ファイルを、めくっているとき思わずおーこれは、なかなかいいやないの。

いつ描いたのかまったくおぼえてない。
コピー用紙に誰かの作品を練習したのかも。
だいぶぼけてきている。

UAEで2番目に高い山,
Jabek Hafeet
というのが、この町の南にあって、
そこの山のてっぺんに、
ホテルがある。

そこの、プールに友人といったときに、
スケッチした、
シャワーを待つ男の子。

これも、
完成してないまま、
何年もまえに、ここにポストした記憶があるけど、
今回、

Pathalo Turquoiseのチューブ掃除のために

登場させて、
色をおいて完成。

ということは、この1枚を完成させるのに、数年かかったということになる。



 



スケッチブックに描いた蟹。
紙が当然薄いので、波うってくるけど、
そこに、絵の具がたまって、それはそれでいい味。(だと私は思うことにする）

魚市場で、1匹4ダラム。


どうも、スープにするといいらしい。




絵の具を買いにいくと、やたらと、興奮する。
買う色は、大体決まっているけど、
何か新しいものに挑戦したくなるときもある。

あんなに水彩は、軽視されていたのに、
ばっちりと、水彩絵の具のたなが
うまっているということは、
水彩、
復活かな？
